What does endometriosis and/or fibromyalgia mean to you?
We are curating a group exhibition on women’s health specifically looking at the conditions fibromyalgia and endometriosis.
We are inviting artists and creative people to submit artwork looking at the question ‘What does endometriosis and/or fibromyalgia mean to you?’. This can be submitted in any medium that you like but there are some restrictions (see below). You can be an artist or just like being creative to be part of this exhibition. The purpose of this exhibition is to raise awareness of these conditions and the impact on people’s lives.

We welcome any medium and open to submissions from family, friends or professionals as well as people with lived experiences.
We are looking into our options, we would like to exhibit online as well as in a location in Exeter from October 2020.
We are working towards the exhibition starting in October 2020, please keep that in mind and more details will follow soon. All our plans have been affected by COVID-19, so we will be able to update you after you have applied.
Artwork of a medium of your choice will be considered including painting, photography, sculpture, audio, video, printmaking, and technology-based work. If you would like to submit an installation, please request an appointment to do an online chat with our curator.
The preferred dimensions are small estimated at around 30cm by 40cm for artwork. We can consider slightly larger artwork, so please make your submission and we will be back in touch. All exhibitors are responsible for delivering and collecting their artwork at the central Exeter exhibition space and details will be provided if your submission is selected.
We are particularly focussing in on women's health. This can be through lived experience, family and friends, or professionals with understanding of these two conditions. It's up to each exhibitor to decide how they would like to respond to the question 'what does endometriosis and/or fibromyalgia mean to you?'. We welcome an initial enquiry if you are not sure about how you would like to get involved (please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org).
